Common questions

Before we work together

Which companies are a fit?

We primarily work with founders and management teams of funded companies preparing for their next stage. Investment firms can refer portfolio founders or discuss joint services.

Can services be combined?

Combine services around company goals or focus on a single question. Each stage has its own goals, scope and participants; there is no need to commission all services.

What happens in the initial conversation?

Discuss the company background, funding stage, goals and obstacles to assess fit. A time is confirmed after reviewing the brief. Consulting, research and plans are scoped separately.

How are fees determined?

After the conversation, we propose an engagement based on scope, involvement, deliverables and timing. Agree fees, payment terms and third-party costs in writing before starting; additional work is confirmed separately.

How does ongoing advisory work?

Agree goals, owners, tasks, communication cadence and review points. Review progress and next steps by stage, with clearly defined responsibilities and access.
